The NHDC Board of Directors at its 9th Annual General Meeting announced that during the financial year 2008-09, NHDC has posted a turnover of Rs. 755.92 Crores and earned net profit of Rs. 306.16 Crores. The Board also declared a Dividend of Rs. 45.49 Crores payable to the Joint Venture partners, NHPC & Govt. of Madhya Pradesh as per their equity contribution i.e. 51:49. A cheque of Rs. 22,50,08,000 Crores as Dividend for F.Y. 2008-09 was presented to the Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh by Shri K.M. Singh, Chief Executive Director, NHDC on 13.08.2009. During the occasion Shri S. Sanyal, Chief Engineer (PM&C) and Shri B.L. Saboo, Chief (Fin.) were also present. Hon’ble Chief Minister appreciated the contribution made by NHDC in development of the State of Madhya Pradesh by generating Power. He assured to give full support to NHDC by Govt. of Madhya Pradesh in its future endeavours, especially the 1320 MW Supercritical Thermal Power Project proposed in Distt. Khandwa. A cheque of Rs. 23,41,92,000 Crores was also presented to Shri S.K. Garg, CMD, NHPC by Shri K.M. Singh, Chief Executive Director at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad. Shri R.K. Taneja, Executive Director (Fin.), NHPC, Shri Rajeev Sachdeva, Chief Engineer (L&C) NHDC were also present during the presentation of Cheque.
